HOW DO I SUBMIT A TIP?
There are three easy ways to report information you have about a felony crime.

1. Call The Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 388-CASH (318-388-2274)
   Give your information to the person answering the phone. The more information we have, the better chance an arrest will be made. You may be asked questions or given additional instructions.
2. Text Message Your Tip
   Send a Text Message to CRIMES. The body of the message should include the subject “CASH4” followed by the information you are reporting. You may be contacted with further questions or given additional instructions.
3. Report A Tip Online
   Click the “Report A Tip” graphic located in the upper left corner of this website, or simply click here... You will be redirected to a secure site. Fill in as much information on the questionnaire as you can.

Remember Crime Stoppers only pays rewards for the arrest and/or indictment of suspects involved in felony crimes.

CAN ANYONE SUBMIT A TIP?
Crime Stoppers accepts tips from Anyone with information about an unsolved crime. Tips are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Choose the method you’re most comfortable with. Talk, Text or Online.

HOW DO I REMAIN ANONYMOUS?
Once you report your tip, you will receive a Tipster ID Code. Your ID Code is your “name” to us. It is in the best interest of Crime Stoppers that we do not know your name, address or telephone number. This protects your identity and the integrity of the Crime Stoppers organization. We do not use Caller ID and we do not record telephone conversations.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I’M ELIGIBLE FOR A REWARD?
You may hear either on the news or “on the street” that the person you had information about was arrested, or the crime you called about was solved and an arrest was made. Call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line, give them your Tipster ID Code and ask for an update on your tip. We will let you know if your information led to an arrest and/or indictment.

MY TIP LED TO AN ARREST… HOW DO I RECEIVE MY REWARD?
The Crime Stoppers Executive Committee authorizes monetary rewards. Tipsters are asked to call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line to receive payoff information including day, time, location and amount. All you need to receive your reward is your Tipster ID Code.

HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHAT THE “CRIME OF THE WEEK” IS?
The “Crime of the Week” is aired on KNOE-TV every Thursday during the 6:00 P.M. newscast.
